Cognitive – Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy  or “CBT” is an umbrella term used to describe therapy that focuses on cognitions (i.e., thoughts) and behaviors (i.e., actions). CBT is one of the most well-researched forms of therapy. There is strong evidence for CBT’s effectiveness in treating a wide range of disorders including: anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, and trauma-related disorders.
